近年来,随着校园足球在全国的火热开展,新疆迎来了发展校园足球的黄金时期,作为改革试验区,新疆高校男子足球开展取得了令人称赞的成绩。其活动范围正在从乌鲁木齐走向全疆,喀什、石河子、伊犁等地区加入了校园足球发展大军,越来越多的高校成立了自己的足球队,尤其是新疆农业大学、新疆大学、新疆师范大学的足球队在自治区内难逢敌手,新疆农业大学更是在2016年勇夺大足联赛校园组(西北区)桂冠。新疆高校校园足球队在蓬勃发展
