With the support of FAA’s satellite navigation project office, a number of airlines from the Air Transport Association have been working to further develop enhanced services for GPS in the air. One of the many tasks AMTECH has done for the FAA is to arrange flight tests and presentations based on GPS technology . In preparation for the ICAO com / ops chapter in March 1995, the FAA and AMTECH are conducting GPS-based Precision Class III
