When my life falls apart
Number one I cry my eyes out
And dry up my heart
Not until I do this will my new life start
So that’s the first thing that I do

The second thing I do is
I close both of my eyes
And say my “thank you”s to each
And every moment of my life

第一件事，我要号啕大哭
哭干我的心田
非要痛哭过后，才能重拾新生

杰森·玛耶兹（Jason Mraz）那个“男巫”的绰号几乎就像他的音乐成就一样有名：他的曲子似乎真有那么一种不可思议的神奇魔力，让你听着听着脸上就不禁露出笑容来……即使如今已经是家喻户晓的格莱美常客，杰森骨子里依然是当年那个为了追寻音乐梦想而带着吉他四处流浪的文艺青年，总是恨不得用话痨得近
乎绕口的歌词塞满每个音符——但他从来不玩什么故作高深、无病呻吟的把戏。他甚至没有几首歌是真正的苦情小调，因为音乐对他来说就是一种能够“抚平生活中的不如意”的疗伤圣药，而我们也总是能从他那直白真诚的低吟浅唱以及轻快跳跃的灵动音符中汲取到积极、乐观、进取、无悔等等充满快乐的元素。就像这首简简单单的《三件事》，“男巫”的人生信条大概也就是那么简简单单的几句话：只要我们还活着，总能重新开始，总会好起来的，对吧？
