上海汽轮机厂自1964年正式采用石墨型铸造有色金属铸件以来,到目前已扩大应用石墨型铸造铝、铜合金铸件共60～70种。铸件尺寸从几十毫米到直径554毫米、高510毫米;铸件壁厚从3毫米到50毫米;铸件重量从1～2公斤以下到100公斤以上;铸件形状从简单的轴类件到内外形状复杂的壳体(包括柴油机增压器转子大型铝铸件)。
