The East Qinling is China’s most important molybdenum (polymetallic) metallogenic belt, but also one of the most important molybdenum belt in the world. In this molybdenum belt, the molybdenum deposit age mainly concentrated in the Yanshanian period, and the molybdenum deposit types are mainly porphyry (- skarn) type. In recent years, a series of quartz vein molybdenum deposits have been discovered in the East Qinling Mountains, which is the newly discovered molybdenum deposit type in this area. This type of molybdenum deposit is mainly produced in the Outer Fangshan area. With the discovery of more and more molybdenum deposits of the same type, the geological characteristics of the deposit are studied.
