1983年河南地质十三队在鸣皋玄武岩分布区发现了金刚石。近两年,随着建材工业的需求,人们对呜皋地区的玄武岩开发又给以了关注。为此我们在呜皋幅开展了1:5万区调遥感地质方法实验。在工作过程中发现了老庄南和南王庄两处火山口构造。区内出露的玄武岩属碱性玄武岩系列,可分为火山口相、火山锥相、熔岩被相,与夏威夷式盾火山比较相像,为多中心间歇式喷发。根据本区构造历史演化牲征认为;此玄武岩喷发除受喜山期应力场作用下近东西向断裂张性活动控制外,还与本区深部构造有关。卫星照片上所反映的环形影像基本上与本区近东西—北西向断裂及火山岩分布区域相一致。工作中在原九店组(K?j)上部新建秦停组,与原九店组下部呈侵蚀接触。并在秦停组灰岩内发现了Gathaica sp.,Pwpilla sp.,Opeas sp.等化石,故时代暂定为N_2—Q_3。
In 1983, Henan geological thirteen teams discovered the diamond in the distribution area of the basalt in Qiangao. In the recent two years, with the demand of the building materials industry, people have paid more attention to the basalt development in Minggao area. To this end, we conducted a 1: 50000 regional geological experiment with remote sensing method. In the process of work found Laozhuang South and Wangzhuang two crater structure. Basaltic basalts exposed in the area are alkaline basalt series that can be divided into volcanic facies, volcanic cones and lava and are similar to the Hawaiian-style shield volcano and are multi-center intermittent eruptions. Based on the historical evolution of the tectonic evolution in this area, the eruption of this basalt is related to the deep tectonics in the area except for the control of the extensional and extensional faults near the east-west fault under the stress field of the Himalayan period. The ring images reflected in the satellite photos basically coincide with the near-west-northwesterly faults and the distribution of volcanic rocks in this area. During the work, a new Qin-stop group was built in the upper part of the former Jiudou (K? J) group, which was in eroding contact with the lower part of the former Jiudou Group. In addition, fossils of Gathaica sp., Pwpilla sp. And Opeas sp.
