摘 要:本文根据职校生英语教学重实践应用的特点,探索并实践了求职面试英语口语“速成教学四步法”,收到了良好的教学效果。

中职学校的培养目标,是学生通过两年的学习,较熟练地掌握适应社会经济发展的专业技能。职校生在初中时的英语学习都是应试导向的,加上日常加上日常生活学习中缺乏必要的英语听说练习环境,导致不少学生在听和说方面比较薄弱;再加上学生在中职学校的学习时间短,因此要想在其毕业前实现培养目标,存在较大难度。笔者在学习各地先进的教学经验的基础上,结合自己的教学实践,对中职生求职面试英语口语采用“速成教学四步法”,取得了较好的效果。
一、第一步:掌握求职面试必备词
在求职中,必须掌握一些常用面试英语。而在面试中,自我介绍又是至关重要的一环,所以掌握自我介绍的常用词是重中之重。
个人性格。如:capable有能力的,enthustic有热情的,strength优点等。
个人情况。如:assisistant 助理的、辅助的,manager 经理,singie 单身的等。
其他。如:apartment公寓房间,chat谈天、闲谈,certificate证书等。
二、第二步:记牢求职面试惯用句
I’m Betty, I’ve come for an interview as reguested.
I was born on May sth,1984.
I’m 25 years old now.
My hometown is shang hai.
My telephone number is 89788960.
I’m single.
三、第三步:模拟求职面试真实场景对话
1.应约面试
Applicant: Good morning,sir.
Interviewer:Good morning, sit down, Please. Your name, please.
Applicant: I’m Betty, I’ve come for an interview as reguested.
Interviewer:Oh, yes! I’m Peter, the assistant manager of BBD interntional Trade Co,Ltd.
Applicant: I’m very pleased to meet you!
2.自我介绍
A:Good morning! First, can you tell me a little about yourself?
B:Good morning! My name is Li Hua.
A:OK! Mr. Li,when were you born?
B:I was born on Maysth,1984,I’m 25 years old now.
A:Where do you live now?
B:I’m living at Room 234. Building 12,Qijia Apartment.
A:Where is your hometown?
B:My hometown is ShangHai.

Interviewer: Tell me a little bit about yourself?
David: My name is David and I live in ShangHai. I was born in 1980, My major was eieetrieal engineering.
Interviewer: What kind of personality do you think you have?
David:Well, I approach things very enthusiastically, I think and I don’t like to leave tkings half-done, I’m very organized and extremely capable.
Interviewer: What would you say are your weaknesses and strengths?
David: I’m afraid I’m a poor speaker, However I’m fully aware of this, So I’ve been studying, how to speak in public, I suppose my strengths are that I’m persistent and a fast-learner.
Interviewer: Do you have any licenses or certificates?
David:I have a driver’s license,and I am a CPA.
Interviewer: How do you relate to others?
David: I’m very co-operative and have good teamwork spirit.
四、第四步:熟练掌握不同场合自我介绍的常用句式
在正式场合做自我介绍时,为了表示尊重,通常都是连名带姓将自己的全名直接说出来。如果是在面试或工作场合做自我介绍,通常会在姓氏前加上职务名称或报上全名。
以上就是求职面试英语口语“速成教学四步法”。笔者在教学实践中,通过任务教学法、板块教学法,采用灵活多样的教学形式,让学生带着浓厚的学习兴趣掌握、记牢必备词、惯用句,并能在实践中进行灵活、恰当地运用。多年来,学校毕业生在英语口语考试或工作中运用英语时普遍得到了用人单位的好评。
