楝白小叶蝉ElbelusmelianusKnob是苦楝重要的害虫，不仅发生普遍，且常年为害严重，被害叶片由苍白变红褐乃至焦枯，往往引起提早落叶，加速树势衰老。鉴于此虫的生物学国内尚未见报道，1990～1991年我们在南昌郊区进行了系统观察，现将结果初报如下。1观察方法1．1卵孵化进度 Elbelus melilotus Knob is an important insect of Melia azedarach.
