《希夷梦》作为清代汪寄一部卓有特色的神怪小说,文本中的怪兽形象在继承前代的基础上又有突破。文本中怪兽形象的功能,可分为“助力”“阻碍”和“烘托”三种。在具体叙事上,作者有意突出了其功能性、转化性以及相克性等特性描写。同时,前代相关作品、作者虚构想象和异域之于中原的“朝贡体系”是怪兽形象的三大来源。清代以来历史演义、神怪小说“混类”状况进一步发展,怪兽形象对“混类”状况生成意义重大,汪寄于此很有贡献。同时,《希夷梦》也较直接地触发了还珠楼主的小说母题建构。
As a famous monster novel sent by Qing Dynasty, the image of monster in the text has a breakthrough on the basis of inheriting the previous generation.
