In Wuhan, Hubei Province, a middle-aged man fainted in the street. An elderly man took the initiative to rescue him and used an umbrella to shade him. People hope that such a “living Lei Feng” can be more and more. Recently, a local law and regulation promulgated in Shenzhen Municipality of Guangdong Province that “protects the rights and interests of rescuers in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone” may help bring out more “Huolei Feng”. The law clearly stipulates that if the salvage person claims his body damage is caused by the salvor, the burden of proof should be borne by the bereaved person. If there is no evidence or the evidence is insufficient to prove its claim, the salvor shall bear unfavorable consequences according to the law. People think that this provision helps to protect the interests of rescuers and eliminate the concerns of good people doing good deeds.
