我场共有各种果树6754株,其中40～100年生的衰老梨树有678株,占果树总株数的9.9%。由于树令大,管理粗放,因此,产量不高,品质逐年下降,株产只有二百～三百斤,单果平均重只有40克左右。一般树高在16～17米,管理极为不便,劳力浪费很大。工人同志提出:老梨树能不能返老还童,产量能不能再提高。场革委会遵照毛主席“外因是变化的条件,内因是变化的根据”的教导,对衰老梨树作了调查分析。老梨树生长不旺,产量低,主要问题是树
