为了提高大学英语听说课程的教学质量,提高学生的英语综合应用能力,通过调查问卷和访谈的方式,对辽宁对外经贸学院2011级和2012级232名本科生进行调查,了解学生的大学英语听说课程的现状。结果表明:学生英语词汇量小;学生对学习策略知之甚少;学生课外自主学习的积极性和主动性不高。针对调查结果,分析听说教学中存在的问题,提出四点建议:加强词汇教学;在课堂教学中进行学习策略训练;实施合作学习;加强对学生自主学习的监控和管理。
In order to improve the teaching quality of college English listening and speaking courses and improve students’ ability to use English comprehensively, this study investigated 232 undergraduates of 2011 and 2012 in Liaoning Institute of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation through questionnaires and interviews, Said the status of the course. The results show that students ’English vocabulary is small, students have little knowledge of learning strategies, and students’ motivation and initiative in extra-curricular autonomous learning are not high. According to the result of the survey, we analyze and answer the existing problems in teaching and put forward four suggestions: to strengthen vocabulary teaching; to train learning strategies in class teaching; to carry out cooperative learning; and to strengthen the monitoring and management of students’ autonomous learning.
