在我国,似乎人人都认为:游戏是小孩子的事情,就是玩,跟学习没有任何联系,或者游戏不适合于教学。那么,什么是游戏呢?笔者认为,英语教学中应包括以下几个因素:(1)游戏是自觉自愿进行的,没有外力的强迫;(2)游戏是在一定的时间和空间中进行的,离开了固定的时间和空间,游戏不可能进行;(3)游戏伴随着紧张和愉快;(4)游戏是对生活的一种模仿;(5)游戏的目的在于学习,而不在游戏本身。由此看来,游戏是学习的形式,学习是游戏的目的。因此,不论是高年级还是低年级,每堂课的教学都应包含游戏的成分。
