It is of great significance to enhancing Macao’s traffic links with the outside world and further promoting Macao’s social and economic development. In the meantime, the airport project to build an artificial island as a flight zone by sea is the first of its kind in China’s maritime engineering and the same type of construction is currently one of the few in the world.
