以河南永夏煤田车集煤矿二2煤层为例,在大量实测瓦斯基础参数的基础上,研究了煤的瓦斯吸附特征,对瓦斯含量和工作面预测指标进行了跟踪测试,分析了其相互关系,并对始突瓦斯含量临界值进行了比较研究。通过实验,模拟研究了钻屑瓦斯解吸指标△h2与瓦斯压力、瓦斯含量及煤的破坏类型的关系。综合确定了车集矿二2煤层突出区域预测瓦斯含量临界值为9.0 m3/t,并在实践中得到了验证。
