甬茄1号是由宁波市农科院蔬菜研究所育成的茄子一代杂种。1999～2000年底进行品比试验和多点试种,表现出生长势强、坐果性好、产量高、商品性佳、品质优良等特性,深受试种农户欢迎。2001年4月通过宁波市科技成果鉴定验收。目前已在宁波地区推广应用。1.特征特性植株生长势强,株高70～80厘米,开展度80厘米左右,叶片小,叶色深绿带紫晕。第8～9节上方着生门茄,早中熟,果实长约35厘米,横径2～2.5厘米,平均单果重65克,果皮紫黑有光泽,果肉绿白色,肉质松紧适宜、口感好、品质佳。较耐低温,对灰霉病有较强抗性。适作保护地早中熟栽培或露地栽培,亦可秋栽。
