According to recent press reports, there are few elderly patients who are bedridden in Western Europe. This is hard to believe. So the author organizes several people in the company to visit six elderly hospitals in the Netherlands, Italy, and the United Kingdom. He sees elderly patients who are hospitalized. When they get up every day, nursing staff help change clothes, take wheelchairs to the hall, and no longer go back to the sick room. Do not go to bed, but no drip and nasal feeding. Western Europeans do not advocate that people who are unable to eat because of aging cannot reluctantly sustain their lives by artificial means.
