当前路线设计规范采用的设计方法是基于设计车速、“以力学要求为本”的,并不考虑人的心理、生理负荷和承受度,不是“以人为本”的设计方法。综合设计车速理论、“宽容性设计理念”和交通工效学的基本思想,提出修正后的“宽容性设计理念”的基本思想,即以满足车辆动力学需求为设计底线,以交通参与者在交通环境中的心理、生理等方面的“合理需要”为中心和校核指标,综合考虑交通参与者、交通工具、道路设施与交通环境之间的相互协调、耦合,以安全、舒适作为交通系统设计的基本目标。将“宽容性设计理念”的基本思想应用于广西某事故多发路段的改造设计,探讨了基于“宽容性设计理念”的道路设计方法。结果表明,该方法能很好地提高道路运营的安全性。
