当前,我国已经进入全面建设小康社会的新的历史时期。科教兴国和人才强国战略的实施对教育改革与发展提出了新的要求。教育要发展,师资需先行。教师素质的高低,尤其是中小学教师队伍整体素质的高低直接关系着青少年学生的健康成长,关系着全民族素质的提高和祖国的前途命运。从我省的情况来看,全力推进“两基”攻坚仍然是我省教育工作的重中之重。“两基”攻坚及其巩固提高、高中阶段教育规模的扩大、基础教育课程改革的全面推进等都对我省中小学教师队伍提出了新的更高的要求。全省近30万中小学教师的整体素质成为这些重任能否顺利完成的关健因素。办好让人民满意的教育越来越取决于是否有一支高素质、专业化的教师队伍。 At present, China has entered a new historical period of building an overall well-to-do society.
