本文调查59名非英语专业大一学生的词汇附带习得现象,发现学生在欣赏原版英文字幕电影时确实能够附带习得词汇。但不同的观看任务与学习者词汇量的大小对词汇附带习得有显著影响。作者用“信息处理理论”解释了造成这些差异的原因。
This paper investigates the incidental acquisition of 59 non-English majors, and found that students can actually acquire the acquired vocabulary while enjoying the original English subtitles. However, the different viewing tasks and the size of the learner’s vocabulary have a significant impact on the incidental vocabulary acquisition. The author uses “Theory of Information Processing” to explain the reasons for these differences.
