由新闻出版总署主办、中国期刊协会和环球新闻出版发展有限公司承办的中国期刊展于2001年11月1～4日在北京中国国际展览中心举行。本次期刊展是建国以来规模最大的期刊博览会,中央各部委的30个展团有1000余种期刊参展;全国31个省、自治区、直辖市均组成庞大展团,展出期刊5000余种。 本次展会隆重推出经中共中央宣传部、新闻出版总署、科学技术部严格筛选,从我国（整顿后）现有的8700余种期刊中精选约1500种期刊构成的“中国期刊方阵”。该方阵分四个层面:基础层面是社会效益和经济效益较好的“双效期刊”（约1300
The China Periodicals Exhibition, hosted by China’s Press and Publication Administration and run by China Association of Journalists and Global Press and Publication Co., Ltd., was held in China International Exhibition Center, Beijing from November 1 to November 2001. This journal exhibition is the largest journals expo since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. 30 ministries and commissions of the central ministries and commissions have more than 1,000 kinds of periodicals exhibiting.
