指出了UDEC离散元数值模拟软件研究放出规律的优越性,模拟了包括初次放煤、移架、放煤在内的循环放煤过程。通过对比分析不同阶段顶煤放出规律,研究得出:初次放煤过程中,由于支架掩护梁倾角及初次放煤前支架上方顶煤与支架后方顶煤存在一个支架高度的高差,所以放出漏斗开始就呈现出向采空区侧倾斜;随着放煤的进行,煤矸分界线不断沉降,但是放煤漏斗的倾向基本固定。通过对不同阶段放出体形状的对比分析,发现椭球体的长轴基本垂直经过放煤口中心,这与金属矿放矿椭球体相吻合,这说明在放煤过程中主导椭球体方位的是重力作用,而非掩护梁倾角。初次放煤并移架后的放出规律依然符合椭球体放煤理论,由于移架的作用避免了初次放煤后同一椭球面上矸石的放入。
