研究人类传染病史证实,科学文明的国际化、经济的全球化与 SARS 防治的全球化密不可分。要有效控制 SARS,必须依靠全球力量攻关。科学技术、经济实力强大的国家,在人类面临灾难之时,应当发挥与其身份相称的作用。独善其身,无法制止 SARS 蔓延;局部封闭,只能暂时苟安;隔岸观火,助长大患酿成。只有迅速建立切实有效的全球防治机制,才有望彻底清除SARS 危害。为此,作者建议中国呼吁强国联手,全球参与,大力投入,果断决策,组织国际攻关,出台全球战略,净化我绿色家园。——编者 Studying the history of human infectious diseases confirms that the globalization of scientific civilization and the globalization of the economy are inseparable from the globalization of SARS prevention and control. To effectively control SARS, we must rely on global efforts.
