It is mainly divided into (1) dihydropyridines represented by nifedipine; (2) phenylalkylamines represented by verapamil; and (3) benzothiazoles represented by diazepam. Although they all play their role by blocking Ca 2+ channels, their chemical structures are completely different and have different pharmacological effects on the cardiovascular system. Diazepam and nifedipine can significantly relieve angina pectoris caused by coronary vasospasm, while verapamil has only moderate anti-anginal effect. Diazepam can be used for ischemic heart disease, ischemic myocardial protection, and because the side effects were significantly less than the other two, it also
