辽西地区丰富的热河生物化石群,尤其是带羽毛的恐龙及珍稀鸟类的发现,各种类动物大面积死亡而其化石又完整地被保存下来,引起地学界极大关注。通过对穿越盆地的东乌珠穆沁旗-海城-东沟地学断面的综合研究,发现义县-北票盆地的深部中地壳有一低速层(vp=5.8～6.0km/s)。结合Pb同位素急变带分布,认为义县-北票盆地深部有大型油气田。在此基础上,还揭示了辽西地区珍稀化石形成及生物大面积死亡之谜。
The discovery of the Jehol Biofuels in the western Liaoning Province, especially the feathered dinosaurs and rare birds, has led to widespread deaths of all kinds of animals and complete preservation of fossils. Through the comprehensive study of the Dongwuzhumuqinqi-Haicheng-Donggou geology section across the basin, it is found that there is a low velocity layer (vp = 5.8-6.0km / s) in the deep crust of the Yixian-Beipiao basin. Combined with the rapid distribution of Pb isotopes, it is believed that there are large oil and gas fields deep in the Yixian-Beipiao basin. On this basis, it revealed the mystery of the formation of rare fossils and the death of large-scale biological in western Liaoning.
