1992年9～10月临沧县城凤翔镇和忙畔乡暴发鼠间鼠疫并引起人间鼠疫。现将结果报告如下: 基本情况临沧县位于北纬23°29′～24°16′,东经99°49′～100°26′。面积2569.62KM~2。人口25.9万余人。气候属亚热带低纬度山地季风气候,年平均气温17.2℃,啮齿动物以黄胸鼠为主,其次为大足鼠。野外还有云南鼯鼠、明纹花松鼠、红颊长吻松鼠、棕色囊猪、齐氏姬鼠等。
