英国《每日邮报》不久前刊登了一篇文章,名为《为什么粥是超级食物》,强调喝燕麦粥有助降低血脂,减少心脏病风险。事实上,喝粥的好处远不止于此。国人上千年的食粥历史证明,喝对粥可养生防病。粥疗记载已有千年“中国人喝粥的历史至少有2000年以上。”中国中医科学院研究生院教授杨力说,古籍中早有体现,《周书》就曾提到,自黄帝时起,人们开始.“烹谷为粥”。历代文人也对粥有着别样感情。唐代白居易有“粥美尝新米”之诗;苏东坡喝粥后写下佳句:
