采用实证研究的形式分析大学英语四级考试写作中的词汇运用丰富性与写作质量的关系。结果显示:大学生在写作文本长度方面个体差异显著,高分组学生相对能写出更多的内容;低分组学生T单位长度更长,但是T单位正确率远不及高分组学生,T单位正确率与写作质量显著正相关;低分组英语基础薄弱,存在较多的词汇错误,词汇错误与写作成绩呈显著负相关性;高、低分组学生都偏向于重复使用简单词汇,复杂词汇的使用极少,词汇变化度和词汇复杂率差异细微。
The empirical analysis is used to analyze the relationship between the richness of vocabulary usage and the quality of writing in CET - 4. The results showed that there were significant differences in the length of writing texts among college students, while those in high scores were able to write more content. The length of T units was longer in low-scores students, but the accuracy of T-scores was far less than that in high-scores students. There was a significant negative correlation between vocabulary errors and writing scores. High and low group students preferred to reuse simple words and rarely used complicated vocabulary, The degree of change of vocabulary and the complexity of vocabulary are subtle differences.
