According to the “Liberation Daily” reported that originally scheduled for October 19 held at the fourteenth session of the Shanghai Consumer Goods Fair (referred to as the “Shanghai Trade Fair”) opening ceremony, the Shanghai Expo Organizing Committee temporarily canceled. In the meantime, the delegations of various provinces and cities participating in the diplomatic conference with the government delegation this year have been further reduced. It is the fourteenth-year-old fair with the lightest color of the government. “The government sets the stage for economic singing” is a slogan put forward by many trade fairs and trade and economic talks in the country, including the Shanghai Stock Exchange. However, in actual operation, some trade fairs not only “take the stage” by the government, but also play a leading role in “singing opera.” Not only are provincial and municipal delegations led by vice governors and vice-mayors, but also some specific commodity exchanges and trade Negotiations are often handled by the government or the leadership, but the exhibitors have instead become “supporting roles” of the fair, whose trade autonomy has been somewhat limited.
