历代不少画家和艺术评论家均有“惟人物画最难“的感叹!古人多从画法上论难易,我以为现代人物画之难,有三:一是人物画题材的社会性,使人物画的发展受一定的社会条件所制约;二是人作为表现的内容,其精神性,要求传神写心,形神兼备;三是人物造型、笔墨技巧的高精性。文徵明曾说:“盖画人物,辄欲穷似,则笔墨不暇计也。”人物画的难度对画家的天资、功力、修养等各方面条件的要求很高。
Many ancient painters and art critics have lamented the fact that “painting is the hardest figure”. The ancients mostly talked about the difficulties in painting. Wen Zheng-ming once said: “The difficulty of figure painting has very high requirements on the artist’s talent, skill, accomplishment and other aspects in terms of painting people and making them poorer.”
