1936年7月,在白色恐怖下的上海,中共地下党员李竹如与其他几位共产党人娄凝先、高清远(李光灿)、罗中敏(李明、朝鲜族)等,在这里办起了一份四开铅印的《文化报》。李竹如担任该报主编,著名教育家蔡元培先生为报纸题写了报头。李竹如原名李贻萼,字世华,又名一凡,笔名丁时,山东利津县庄科村人。1927年加人中国共产党,是位杰出的革命宣传家。曾任南京中央大学中共地下支部书记,参与领导过“九·一八”事变后南京的爱国学生运动。后回山东从事党的地下工作,在济南创办过《新亚日报》。抗战爆发后,任中共中央山东分局民运部长、宣传部长(兼《大众日报》社社长)、山东战时工作推行委员会(省政府)秘书长等职。1942年11月在
