微电影通俗来讲就是小电影,是那些相较于传统院线电影来说播放时长较短的电影作品。在上个世纪90年代,美国一批年轻人拿起手中的摄影工具录制视频,并以各大网站作为主要的播放平台。他们拍摄的影片时长很短,大部分都在二十分钟以内,这也是早期微电影的雏形。到了新世纪,由于人们生活节奏的加快,以“微博”“微信”“微小说”为代表的微文化迅速风靡,使得微电影开始萌芽,并且伴随着新媒体和互联网技术的迅猛发展,人们的观影方式也在发生变
Microfilms are generally short movies in the short run, and are short films that have a shorter duration than traditional cinemas.
