Disneyland, Hong Kong’s newest fantasy tourist attraction, opened in September last year, but Mickey Mouse drags a “black” tail as Disneyland has a “dark” side in its planning and construction. The site is located in Hong Kong’s most green and most ecological value of Lantau Island, is Hong Kong’s last piece of pure land. Artificial tourist spots are “transplanted” into this natural environment. Rather than rare rare Chinese white dolphins, reclamation projects trigger large numbers of fry deaths, which directly threaten the livelihoods of fishermen in fishing areas.
