南部坳陷位于北黄海盆地南部,是盆地6个二级构造单元之一。利用地震资料,运用地震地层学方法对研究区地层、沉积特征进行了分析,研究结果表明北黄海盆地南部坳陷具三层结构特征,主要发育有下白垩统、始新统、渐新统、新近系等中-新生代地层,相比盆地东部坳陷和西部坳陷缺失了侏罗系。中-新生代,南部坳陷均由多个大小差异的凹陷组成,沉积地层厚度较薄,以冲积平原、扇三角洲、三角洲、滨-浅海等陆相沉积为主,不具备较好的油气资源前景。
The southern depression is located in the southern part of North Yellow Sea Basin and is one of six secondary structural units in the basin. Seismic stratigraphy is used to analyze the stratigraphy and sedimentary features of the study area by using seismic data. The results show that the southern depression of the North Yellow Sea Basin has a three-layer structure characterized by Lower Cretaceous, Eocene, Oligocene, Neogene and other Meso-Cenozoic strata, compared with the lack of eastern Jurassic basin and the western depression. The Meso-Cenozoic and southern depressions are composed of several dimples with different sizes. The sedimentary strata are relatively thin and dominated by continental deposits such as alluvial plain, fan delta, delta and coastal-shallow sea, which do not have good hydrocarbon resources prospect.
