以溴化锌为催化剂，１－香茅醛经环合得到了ｄ－异蒲勒醇，所用催化剂系填充在柱子里，且可重复使用，该反应的产率高于７５％，产物的旋光纯度可达９５％。
Using zinc bromide as catalyst, 1-citronellal was cyclized to obtain d-isprenolol. The catalyst used was packed in the column and reusable. The yield of the reaction was over 75%. The optical rotation of the product Purity up to 95%.
