Forty-two adult canines, weighing 25-30 kg, underwent thoracotomy under venous anesthesia and controlled breathing, were cannulated proximal to the left anterior descending (LAD) and connected to the right femoral artery via a compression pump. The blood flow was adjusted first to equal LAD perfusion pressure to mean aortic pressure; blood flow remained unchanged during the subsequent experiments. The experiment was performed under the condition of cutting off the cervical vagus nerve, cutting off the connecting fibers between the stellate ganglion and the center and blocking the β receptor (intravenous injection of preslopodiaol 1.0mg / kg, then 0.5mg / hr)
