研究了氢氧化镁(Magnesium Hydroxide,MH)粉体用硅烷偶联剂处理前后性能的变化,分析了产生这些变化的原因,并比较了纳米氢氧化镁(nano-sized Magnesium Hydroxide,n-MH)和微米氢氧化镁(micro-sized Magnesium Hydroxide,m-MH)改性效果的差异。研究表明,用硅烷偶联剂改性后,氢氧化镁粉体的吸水量和吸油量都明显减小,堆积密度增大,在液体石蜡中的黏度减小。由改性后的氢氧化镁与聚丙烯(PP)制备的复合材料的加工性能明显改善。与微米氢氧化镁相比,改性后的纳米氢氧化镁复合材料的可加工性较差,只有偶联剂用量足够大时复合材料才能进行加工成型。
The change of properties of Magnesium Hydroxide (MH) powder before and after silane coupling agent treatment was studied. The reasons for these changes were analyzed. The effects of nano-sized Magnesium Hydroxide (n-MH) And micro-sized Magnesium Hydroxide (m-MH) modified effect of the difference. The results show that after modified by silane coupling agent, the water absorption and oil absorption of magnesium hydroxide powder decrease obviously, the bulk density increases and the viscosity of liquid magnesium hydroxide decreases. The machinability of composites prepared from modified magnesium hydroxide and polypropylene (PP) is significantly improved. Compared with the micron magnesium hydroxide, the modified nano-magnesium hydroxide composite material has poor processability, and the composite material can be processed and shaped only when the coupling agent is large enough.
