OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of low temperature water (0-4 ° C) before freezing on immune function in mice and to observe the change of the activity of α-acetate-Naphthyl Acetate (ANAE) in peripheral blood T cells before and after the cold bath. Methods: Twenty mice were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The rats were immersed in 0 ~ 4 ° С and 25 ° С low temperature water for 2 minutes, respectively. Peripheral blood was collected at 1, 5 and 24 hours after bathing. The positive rate of ANAE in each phase was determined by ANAE staining. Results: The positive rate of ANAE at 1 hour and 5 hours after cold bath was not significantly different from that before bath (P> 0.05). The positive rate of ANAE at 24 hours after cold bath was significantly higher (P <0.001) No significant change in ANAE activity. Conclusion: The experiment suggests that 0 ~ 4 ° С cold water bath, can stimulate immune function in mice. According to this speculation, after a certain period of cold bath training mice may significantly improve the level of non-specific immune function.
