A blogger who claims to be “over 20 years overseas and reading countless” wrote a blog post titled “The letter X is the soft underbelly of Hanyu Pinyin, the slogan of overseas Chinese”, and the pronunciation of “X” in Hanyu Pinyin Leading to “the ambiguity of overseas Chinese” made several small stories. One of these words was very unpleasant to read: "In the 1950s, the Chinese Reform Commission formulated the Pinyin program. During this period, it received more than 1,600 various Chinese Pinyin programs... The State Council finally decided to adopt the Latin alphabet as Hanyu Pinyin. The symbol system... In the environment where English becomes a strong language, when foreigners meet Hanyu Pinyin, they must follow the pronunciation rules of English. Han Pinyin cannot hide the international rules laid down by Westerners.”
