According to a recent study in the United Kingdom, human life expectancy will be extended to 100 years, and women will still live longer than men on average, but men’s life expectancy is now being approached by women. The Sunday Times reported that the study shows that professional women in their 20s are likely to live in their 90s. If people’s health continues to improve in the coming decades, women born 20 years later may live to nearly 100 years of age. Stephen Richards, one of the sponsors of the study, pointed out that human life expectancy has grown faster than previously estimated. He said: “For more than 40 years, human life expectancy has been increasing. There is no clear indication that this growth will slow down.”
