铁路通信信号设计情报网于1988年6月16～18日在兰州召开光纤通信设计与施工技术交流会。光纤通信是70年代初兴起的一项新技术,目前第三代光纤通信商用化程度迅速提高。据资料统计截止到1986年,全世界敷设光缆总长度已达450×10~4km 以上。据初步统计,国内邮电系统从1980年至1987年共开通光纤通信系统56段826km,近两年正在向长大干线发展。

According to preliminary statistics, the domestic post and telecommunications system opened a total of 826km of optical fiber communication system from 1980 to 1987, and is developing to the growth route in the recent two years.
