“晋谷14号”原名“长农18号”,系山西省农科院谷子所用“长农1号”做母本,“海南谷”做父本杂交选育而成。1985年3月经山西省品种审定委员会审定,产量超过对照10%,适口性相当于“沁州黄”,定名为“晋谷14号”。特征特性该品种主茎高140 “Jin Valley 14” formerly known as “Changnong 18”, Department of Agronomy, Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, “Changnong 1” as the mother, “Hainan Valley” as the father of hybrid breeding.
