In the process of earthquake gestation, due to the high concentration of stress caused by rock strain, resulting in a large number of micro-rupture and the formation of acoustic emission phenomenon - precursor sound. From the borehole with anti-interference measures, acoustic sounding type acoustic detector is used to amplify the detected rock micro-crack sound, and then the threshold voltage is used to automatically count acoustic pulses to obtain the ground acoustic frequency curve. Using this method, we conducted a long-term investigation of seismic activity in the Yingkou earthquake area. After six years of continuous data recording, we found that there appears to be a good correspondence between the acoustic frequency curve and the regional strong aftershocks, Long-term trend anomalies and the characteristics of short-term and temporary. As a result, this technology is likely to evolve into a promising precursor and seismological measure.
