子宫颈癌是妇科常见的恶性肿瘤,全世界每年新发病例约50万,在我国约为13.5万,每年死亡率为15/10万。2003年7月～2004年7月,新疆策勒县医院和计划生育指导站、妇幼保健站、疾病预防控制中心、北京市卫生局联合对策勒县城及各乡镇周边村的已婚妇女进行了子宫颈癌的调查,资料完整7971例,发现宫颈癌42例,发病率为527/10万,高于全国初查发病率,说明新疆地区也是高发区,做好宫颈癌的三级预防是非常重要的。
