目前,我国外语专业学生的语言知识水平比较高,语言能力比较强,但是思辨能力比较低下,这一现象引起了众多外语专家和学者的广泛关注。国内外语专家黄源深教授认为,造成这种现象的原因之一是教学法上的偏执、尤其是传统教学法,以教师为中心,教师是知识的权威,学生是知识的被动接受者,限制了学生的主观能动性;而探究式教学改变了传统教学法中师生的相互关系,教师是课堂的引领者和协商者,学生重新回归为课堂的主体,学生拥有更广阔的空间发挥自身的主体性和创新能力,更有利于培养英语专业学生的思辨能力。
At present, foreign language students in our country have relatively high level of language knowledge and strong language skills, but their thinking ability is relatively low. This phenomenon has caused widespread concern among many foreign language experts and scholars. Professor Huang Yuanshen, a domestic foreign language expert, believes that one of the causes of this phenomenon is paranoid teaching methods, especially traditional teaching methods. Teachers are the center, teachers are the authority of knowledge, and students are passive recipients of knowledge. Students’ subjective initiative; and inquiry teaching has changed the relationship between teachers and students in traditional teaching methods. Teachers are the leaders and negotiators of the classroom. Students return to the main body of the classroom. Students have a broader space to exert their own subjectivity. The ability to innovate is more conducive to cultivating English students’ thinking ability.
