Although all kinds of publishing history, editorials, etc, all give the title of “editor” to the patriarch, but in my opinion, the ancient Chinese “editors” and today’s “editors” are not the same concept. The role of Confucius, Liu Xiang, and later dynasties in compiling, too students, and so on, in terms of their role in cultural transmission, is roughly equivalent to today’s editors and editors, Editorial, they spread for the continuation of culture and read the public writings, Shali gold, additions and deletions collaterals, so scattered into a book. They are above all highly academic experts and scholars.
