The purpose of this study - Taking into account the gap between research and practice in the development of youth leadership, this paper studies the efficiency of youth leadership development in Australia on the basis of multi-dimensional and comprehensive research on service-oriented leadership. RESEARCH DESIGNS / RESEARCH METHODS / RESEARCH METHODS - Overall, in order to achieve the above research objectives, this paper consists of three separate studies: a visit to 33 student leaders; a visit to 10 secondary school teachers and principals; And 97 secondary school graduates questionnaires. Findings - Students, teachers and counselors have very different views on the content of youth leadership development programs. The study shows that seldom included ethics training in its leadership training courses. This article also discusses the application of incorporating a holistic framework for service leadership into youth leadership curricula. Originality / Value - Through research we find that this paper proposes the concept, traits and capabilities for the full development of leadership among students. This framework can serve as a foundation for teaching and training young leaders and other general leadership courses.
