学习需要兴趣。在某种意义上讲,学英语就更需要兴趣。如何激发学生的学习兴趣并保持它,使之成为学习的动力,正是目前英语教学着重考虑的出发点。一和谐、融洽师生关系教和学是一对矛盾,作为矛盾双方的代表教师和学生如何和谐、融洽师生关系,对完成教学目标至关重要。青少年的心理特点告诉我们,这个年龄段的学生“亲师性”较强。如果他们对某个教师有好感,便对这位教师的课感兴趣并分外重视,肯下大气力,花大工夫学这门课,因而成绩卓著。这种现象大概就是我们常说的“爱屋及乌”吧!反之,如果学生不喜欢某一位教师,由于逆反心理,也就不愿学或不学这位教师的课。
