原东京教育大学教授家永三郎是日本知名历史学家,早在1952年,由编他写的《新日本史》就由三省堂作为高中历史教科书出版。然而,自60年代起,家永教授的《新日本史》在接受文部省审查时却屡屡遭到“不合格”处分。为此,家永教授先后三次提起诉讼,状告文部省违反保障“教育自由”和“学术自由”的新宪法,要求日本政府取消对教科书的“审定制度”。这就是日本国内外广泛关注的“家永教科书诉讼案”。 Former Tokyo University professor Yoshihiro Saburo was a well-known Japanese historian.
