喀喇汗王朝时期是维吾尔族等操突厥语民族历史上的又一次民族、文化融合时期,在这个时期回鹘等游牧部族的草原文化、西域土著居民的绿洲文化及伊斯兰文化相融合在一起,开始形成了具有区域及民族特色的维吾尔传统文化,本文运用历史文献资料对喀喇汗王朝时期的维吾尔族饮食文化的形成过程及特征进行简单的探讨。
